George Worth Jones makes small guns - Book Review

In "The Making of Miniature Guns," George W. Jones collected a series of photos and tips on his skills as a miniature model, as well as extraordinary skills, patience and vision! His book is written in words, but it shows that each model photo shows a rich spiritual stimulation, creating a real "wow" factor. It unfolds like a special introduction to national geography, introducing the reader to the intricate details needed to make miniature copies of these museums.

George W. Jones focused on the 19th century Samuel Colt [Samuel Colt has a famous saying, "God may have created people, but Sam Colt made them equal!" I said, "Sam Colt may have created perfection in his gun design, but George Jones narrowed them down to a dime!" Through this, I refer to the dime used in most photos. Explain the size of the model. [For George, making a coin as big as a plate is much easier than a small gun on his hand!]

Miniature guns also include other models, such as the Winchester-Shuetzen rifle, and most are housed in miniature cases, including accessories commonly used to support guns, such as gun powder containers, bullet molds and presses, cans and other items. Even the hinges of the case are made proportionally, and - this is a key - unlocks the small lock on the case. unbelievable! Please note that these 1/6 and 1/8 scale models are not simply molded, but are assembled with the internal work of the hammer spring, barrel assembly and all components, very fine.

"Miniature Firearms" is a high quality photo book on a hardcover coffee table that is suitable for any firearms enthusiast, model maker, or frankly anyone. George W. Jones lists his other works and some of his industry honours, including the story of James Cameron when he made the film "Titanic" and in 2007 by the late Ralph Bud Radshaw's portrait is a repost. As a private collection and museum of works by Mr. Jones across the country, visiting each website will be expensive and time consuming, and a better option is to buy this book, relax comfortably while thinking about the fine details as his The testimony of art.
