Understanding Li Aikeka - his philosophy and strategy

In his time, Lee Iacocca was considered one of the most exquisite business leaders of all time, known for his blunt and straightforward conversation. When exploring the reasons for making this person, one can only say that adversity has established the role needed to accomplish everything he does. Do you have Lee Iacocca used to reverse the quality of Chrysler?

If not, that doesn't mean you can't learn this great man and his methods to control your company, your future or your destiny. I suggest you study the philosophy and strategy of Lee Iacocca. I would like to recommend two books. I have two books in my own personal business library:

"Iacocca - an autobiography" Collaboration with William Novak by Lee Iacocca - 1984

"Speak straight" Author: Lee Iacocca with Sonny Kleinfield - 1988.

The first book describes Lee Iacocca's early start and the factors that shape his personality. It will take you through his tenure at Ford Motor Company and enter his position at Chrysler. It discusses how he sells "Bailout" and how he built his team, the K-Car solution. He talked about car safety, and Japan, labor costs and union competition and the need for this great country to become bigger.

The fourth book, "Talking Straight," was written four years later and is a continuation of how the United States, the stock market, the trade deficit, the debtor countries, raising American children, and what we are doing now will affect the world. Living in the 21st century.

He talked about family values, hard work, national unity, character strength, where we do well and where we need to concentrate. He discussed where American business needs to be concerned and where it is falling. He talked about several industries, even family farmers. He said that we need to make what "Made in the USA" means again. In many ways, Lee Iacocca is correct, I hope that you will listen to him and think about it.

At the same time, if you are interested in the automotive industry, I would like to recommend another book about how factories operate in the US and elsewhere, and how to make them more efficient and profitable:

"Remodeling the factory – a breakthrough in productivity in today's manufacturing industry" Author: Roy L. Harmon and Leroy D. Peterson - Arthur Anderson Consulting - 1990.

The book includes the following chapters: Management Perspectives and Profits, Plant Scope Planning, Assembly Processes, Processes, Material Storage, One-Click Replacement, and Paperless Chemical Plants. The book also covers important considerations for productivity and how to create factories, sub-factories and manufacturing clusters using suppliers, derivatives and internal systems. Finally, the book explains the methods and strategies needed to design a future factory.
