Silent Willow Tree - Review

Lushna Joy Knox Nee Ramsamugh's Hushing Willow is a series of poems that will inspire your emotions as you embark on a roller coaster-like life. As the title suggests, the poems contained in The Hushing Willow are feelings of silence and emotions, sadness, loss, betrayal and hurt. The author has a special gift, depicting these energetic souls with so few words, is a pleasure of reading. The words in her poems flow so gracefully together that the images in nature jump up to meet you as you read.

This book takes us through many adventures in life and recalls many emotions. Rona Knox is a very talented poet who tries to describe so much in so few languages. Lorna uses modern free style poetry, but it meets the constant rhythm necessary for great poetry.

It is difficult to choose the most favorite or even the most favorite poetry works. However, a poem that really caught my attention is "desperate". This poem contains very powerful emotions, especially the second section of poetry, because the poet Describes love as a dream. I was also really attracted to the poetry "magic", this is a short and exhilarating vocabulary, when I came to an end, I found myself smiling. The last two lines of this poem really help to sum up this feeling - "Sitting in a band, this will make me pacify forever, never land."

At the end of this wonderful collection of poems, Ms. Knox finally passed through a short story entitled "Combination in Friendship - The Story of Two Friends" and let us experience her other techniques. An extraordinary story, written very well, tests the boundaries of friendship in a relaxed romantic story.

For anyone who has a desire for poetry, Tamarix is a must. In this book, everyone has a poem, and if you live, you will definitely find a poem associated with it.

Lorna Joy Knox nee Ramsamugh is also the author of "Rose of Flames" and can be purchased from all major bookstores including Amazon, Barnes and Noble.
