Romantic Fiction Review: Michel Grottewall's compromise

The battle began on the first day of kindergarten when Ethan painted dirt on Arin's hair. It has been following their school and even the university. But when Ethan and Arin work at an advertising agency - as a "dream team" - it seems that they must eventually work together. Because the two of them share the same space so close together, they may realize that their feelings are not hatred, but sexual tension.

This should be a lovely story about the two children hating each other before they grow up in love, but it has an unintentional dark side. Most of the pranks that the two children play with each other are harmless and interesting. Like the dirt on Arin's hair, or Arin's chewing gum on Ethan's hair.

Their pranks at the university are even reliable and harmless. Arin dyed Ethan's clothes pink and returned to him, replacing her backpack with a full set of condoms and pregnancy tests.

But some pranks are not interesting or harmless, and the authors try to pass them out.

Ethan hit Arin with a chair and it was hard to congratulate. He also patted her bra strap. These are not interesting skirmishes in the lovely childhood battles. This is physical abuse and sexual abuse, and they have no place to be a fun and interesting story, especially the so-called love.

It's not that Arin doesn't have her funny pranks. Panting Ethan is also wrong, and tells Millie that a sly boy, Ethan likes her just to mess with him, this is a bullying behavior. If they are bullies, pretending to be locked in a lovely, violent war, it is difficult to care about these two protagonists.

If the role admits that they are doing too much, then these behaviors are almost acceptable. but not. The whole story basically says that it doesn't matter, it's even fun.

FRIG. that.

But this is not the only mistake in this story. The relationship between Arin and Ethan is really forced, perhaps because they have not done anything good with each other, or have shown any feelings besides being disgusted with each other. They feel that they are more like brothers and sisters and away from those people.

In addition, when we not only entered the same field of work [although they were "completely different"], my suspicions were suspended, but they eventually worked as a "dream team" for dream work. They don't have a bachelor's degree now! But their boss decided that they are talented to make him earn millions? Yes. of course.

As a college student facing the nonsense job market, the difficulty of getting a dream job is incredible. They should be tragic interns or more experienced than AS holders looking for their first job. This is more realistic and does not affect the story at all.

In addition to all my questions about the plot, there is also the problem of Grotewohl's ability to tell stories. Of course this story is sometimes very interesting, I don't feel bored, but it is. from

and so
from

in conclusion! We can hardly see any dialogue, description or action between Arin and Ethan, and of course I don't really care about them. All we see is their argument. all. of. time.

compromise from

It is simply a short story about two toxic people. I suggest you look around for your romantic fix.
