Politicians who run for public office often write books, many of whom use them to support their supporters. For the high-power politicians in the House and Senate, it has always been a good tool and may even run for president. State governors usually write books, and they use them to promote their notoriety and help them become experts in integrity and credibility.
Not long ago, I dropped an old book from a politician and later became president. You will know that he used to be the name of the governor of Arkansas. His campaign partner was a Senator from Tennessee. Like his father, he would run for the presidency and lose the game. Of course, you already know who I am talking about, but the book I want to recommend is;
"People-oriented; how do we change the United States" from
By Governor Bill Clinton and Senator Gore, 1992
Before I explain this book, I think you know that I am conservative and I doubt if I will vote for this gentleman. Although Bill Clinton has done a good job in history, except for his little evasion with the intern. In this book, he talks about agriculture, arms control, urban degradation, civil rights, ADA, health care, immigration, and all the problems and challenges of the Middle East. Yes, they are still going on.
In hindsight, most of what he wrote in the book was not as good as his presidency. His agricultural plan became a corporate welfare. His idea of arms control would only lead North Korea to lie to its missiles, but when it was his turn, he seized Osama bin Laden; he missed his civil rights initiative and became more politically correct. His health care concept has been beneficially subsidized and has created many billionaires.
As far as the behavior of disabled people in the United States is concerned, lawyers have used it nationwide to prosecute small businesses. When it comes to immigration, he has not done anything, nor has any other president ever done it, but it is very interesting. Nor can he solve the problem between Israel and Palestine, as if it could be solved, or there would be peace there.
He did point out in the book that we need a civil advanced technology institution, and I believe he is right. Anyway, reading these old political books is fun because you can look at the history behind these words and see if they make sense. Please consider all of this.
