Music and golf

People have been using music since the cumbersome Walkman first released in the 1970s. Now, with the latest technologies like iPod, MP3 player and smartphone, we can easily carry our favorite music. But what does music have to do with golf? Can we benefit from music when we practice on the driving range or practice at a local practice field?

Using music while practicing can help you get rid of all the noise around you - such as the surrounding traffic and other golfers. However, if you use the practice facilities at a local golf course, then you need to know about other golfers, especially any golf course... FORE! Therefore, it may be a good idea to remove one earplug or use a lower volume. This rule also applies to the driving range... depending on how bad the golfers around the bay are! Believe me, I have seen it done.
