Clipping hole
Eyelets are a new craze in scrapbooking. Look at what the fuss is.
About the eyelet
Eyelets are used for the decoration of scrapbooks and other craft items such as business cards. The perforations are usually made of aluminum or brass and come in two sizes and three types. The most common size of the eyelet is 1/8", although they are also 3/16". 3/16 "holes larger than 1/8" holes are usually more expensive.
Types of perforations include plain weave, topcoat and anodized. Ordinary holes are not painted, so they are the color of the metal made from them. This type of eyelet is not very common. The eyelet also has a topcoat color. These holes are painted. The last type of perforation is anodized. Anodized holes have more metallic color than perforated tops.
The perforations have a hole through the center for securing them to the paper. Hazelnuts are usually sold with eyelets. The difference between Brad is that they do not have this feature hole. Instead, there are two metal flaps on the back of the tweezers that can be bent to attach them to the paper.
Where to use the eyelet
The eyelet has many shapes and colors. They can be used to attach items such as ribbons, paper, pictures, and labels to the scrapbook page. Holes are an easy way to add colors and themes to the scrapbook page.

How to use the eyelet
It's time to roll up those sleeves and break your handy tools. You will need a hammer, puncher and a flexible work surface, such as an eraser craft pad, to get started with the eyes.
- Place the scrapbook page up on the workbench.
- Place the hole mounter on the page where you want to insert the hole.
- Gently tap the end of the hole mounter several times until a hole is formed.
- Place your eyelet upside down on the work surface and place the clip on the hole so that the back of the hole passes through the hole you just created.
- Place the locator with the flat end on the back of the hole and tap the end of the locator with a hammer until the rear of the hole begins to bend outward.
- Hammer directly on the back of the hole until the hole is flat.
- Open the scrapbook page and be proud of your work.
