High school football officials - pre-match discussion is crucial!

Before every game and every game, the high school football team should do a lot of things. On-site communication is one of the main keys to finding a sharp and becoming a really good staff. You can view this information at the crew meeting or even on the way to the game.

In the pre-match discussion of your staff

  • Talk about what signals will be used for 2 bets [more than 10 yards for the first time]
  • Talk about what signal the player closest to the timeline will use when the person is offline
  • Know why this is important - illegal formations, illegible players, etc.
  • Talking about who is defensive, who is insulting
  • Talk about the 4th clock stop signal
  • Discuss the squid protection signal below the 4th
  • Know your punishment management and use a clear penalty sign
Your crew should use a consistent signal every time. This makes your staff look like they are working together and communicating effectively.

Still during...
