Eating disorders - what is the story of your inner child - choose to be a hero, heroine

Writing and telling your story is powerful because it helps you discover and begin to heal your inner child. This can lead to a cure for your eating disorder or other painful behavior. What would you choose, victim awareness or hero/heroine?

I lost in the cold cold - I can't breathe - I am underwater - struggling. This photo is bothering me in a way I can't understand. I am just afraid of men and any anger they show in the slightest twitch of their lips or chin. In my subconscious, I don't know, this memory determines every interaction between me and men.

When I was in my 40s, I made an intuitive painting that revealed the image of a child drowning underwater. In-depth understanding of my past, I found this in the process of writing my story; my father's memory is still the drunkard in the remote areas of the Olympic rainforest bordering Puget Sound. He has been drinking and taking my brother and myself to a small rowing boat for fishing. I said something that irritated him. He bumped into my head and let me fall into the cold northwest waters.

When I pass this memory, I can tell men and authority figures. I am forever grateful for the power and consciousness of my past and new discoveries.

Start by choosing to start your story, write down what you were when you were young, write down what happened to you, and what it is for you now. This is a process of trusting anything that comes to mind and writing it without judging it, without considering all possible things, just starting to believe in the process of clearing your soul. In other words, you can think of your story as communicating with your heart. Write down important, meaningful, confusing, contradictory or painful things in your life while telling your story. You can choose to share your inner thoughts on paper and discover more about your own ideas. By doing this, you begin to heal yourself and your inner child.

In addition, it is documented that sharing your story with others can increase the effectiveness of your treatment. In his book "Give Your Own", Dr. Charles Whitfield called this process a gift for himself. According to Alice Miller, "problems cannot be solved in words and can only be solved through experience, not just to correct experience, but to re-examine early fear, sadness and anger." So take the time to write down your story. It is the next step for the recovery of inner children.

In his book "Reclaiming and Championing Your Inner Child", John Bradshaw called the work a painful work of originality. He pointed out that if the original pain work is understood and used as a treatment, it will completely change the treatment of neuropathy and compulsive addictive behavior. From my many years of clinical practice and using the technology I am writing, I agree that this is the most effective treatment.

So you need to start writing your story?

1. Find a supporter to listen to your story or group or therapist.

2. Firmly commit to writing and completing your story in about four weeks.

3. Find a place to write privately.

4. Set aside time at the same time every day.

5. Write time each day and invite them to write down.

You can put your childhood photos nearby to help you remember.

7. Have support or accountability partners talk to you as needed.

8. Willing to share your story many times, even if your feelings are difficult to express.

If you promise to write and solve your pain and sorrow by sharing, participating and experiencing past suffering, then you can begin to release it. This is the hero/heroine journey as you complete your story. Or you may choose to remain ignorant, which may cause you to resent others, blame yourself, or blame others. Even choosing to unconsciously leads to stress-related illnesses. If you choose to unknowingly it can prolong your pain and let you enter the so-called victim cycle or even the consciousness of the martyrs/victims. Is this really what you want to do?

Yes, this job can cause emotional pain, but when you finish it, you can really have no pain.
