Different types of eating disorders and their causes

People may eat for different reasons for being healthy or unhealthy. No one knows; this may eventually lead to eating disorders. By referring to the term eating disorder, it is easy to think that this refers only to excessive eating habits. However, this is not true because some people eat very little food so much that their bodies do not have enough nutrients and minerals to function properly. The results of these diseases can be seen in overweight or underweight people.

Most people in the world have three major eating disorders. There is anorexia nervosa, which is where people try to keep his or her weight at a certain level by controlling food intake. This is considered a disease because people with this condition can reach a level of incomplete eating or starving themselves to give them a specific body shape or weight.

The second type is bulimia, a practice that is designed to be used by people who control their costs at all costs. For some people, this means using any available means, including using drugs to help them get rid of food they think is excessive. These types of people can even fake their disease to get the type of medication they think will help them maintain their weight.

The last one is overeating, a person who is forced or has a desire to eat. As the impulse increases, one person eventually consumes more food than necessary. This is a common condition that deals with potential problems such as stress, depression, rejection and loss of loved ones. Most people with such eating disorders eventually gain weight and may be at risk if left untreated.

Social pressure is blamed on the growing number of cases of this form of disease. For example, women judge society based on their size. To a certain extent, this has spread to the job market, which has prompted people to use all means to obtain attractiveness that is considered acceptable according to social standards.

After continuous research, people think that stress is only one reason for this situation. There are other reasons related to psychology, self-esteem, anxiety and other causes directly related to this form of illness.
