Jill Bolte Taylor's most popular TED videos, bestsellers and Oprah's interviews really make people talk. Suddenly, the silent experience of millions of survivors of stroke and brain damage has entered mainstream consciousness! As a TBI [traumatic brain injury] survivor and intuitional life coach, I have received many questions about whether biochemistry and trauma awaken everyone's spirituality, or just them. Although I certainly can't speak for everyone, I do recognize that people with short-circuited brains are more than average about their mental growth and intuitive awareness. This process is both exciting and scary, so here are some tips for dealing with awakening:
1] Know that you are not alone. Yes, it may feel that no one in the world has ever experienced this kind of experience, but people have had mysterious experiences for thousands of years. Some people, such as Hildegaard von Bingen or Fyodor Dostoyevski, are now considered to have severe migraine and/or epilepsy. Many medical intuitions, such as Carmen Bell and Tiffany Snow, trace their gifts to nearly death experiences. After a moderate concussion, my own medical intuition increased significantly.
Will biochemical ingredients negate this experience? Far away! Scientists have recently studied long-term meditators who locate more or less areas of the brain than "normal" brains. Yoga provides a balanced biochemistry tradition of four to eight thousand years to relax the body, calm the mind, and awaken more meaningful spiritual consciousness. If you suddenly realize that the veil has been separated, you may need to look around for people with similar experiences, but rest assured: they will be there!
2] Stay open. When a stroke, brain injury, or other nervous system disorder suddenly opens and you never know the path of exhaustion, you may feel like you want to "turn around the situation." In fact, many people contact me because they don't know how to deal with the impact of mind consciousness. "How do I adjust things?" they asked. "I don't want to know these things!"
If you live a life from a rational perspective and suddenly see the future, reading the thoughts before she tells you or knowing that your neighbor has cancer, this information may seem too much at first. However, when brain damage destroyed my visual system, I learned some ironic vision and insight; if you feel overloaded, please accept more information instead of running from it.
That's why it's done: Physiologically, our eyes are designed to scan food and/or predators on the horizon. While most of us now spend more time on the computer than hunting or collecting time, our vision system is still very similar to our ancestors, because any information is equivalent to valuable information. If a saber-toothed tiger cub is on their left, or if a buffalo is squatting in the distance, they need to know! Loss of peripheral vision means loss of overall consciousness, which can lead to death. Here, a narrow field of view still leads to combat or flight reactions.

In today's world, we can easily develop tunnel vision. If you spend 8 hours on your computer and then go home to watch TV for a few hours or relax by reading a book [without looking at the distance or practicing eye exercises] you have effectively reduced your horizons. As the saying goes, "Use it or lose it." Consistently ignoring our peripheral vision can lead to degradation, which makes our understanding of the natural environment less and less. Quickly follow anxiety, irritability and fear - no wonder! Our bodies are hard to worry about lack of visual input!
80% to 90% of the information we absorb comes from the visual system. The health of our vision system directly affects our thoughts, emotions and the ability to "see the forest through trees". As human beings, we have a third eye or an intuitive center that lies in the space between our eyebrows. According to yogis and long-term meditationists, focusing on this area of consciousness will increase intuition. This visual center is still closely connected to our visual center, because a lot of memory, imagination and insight are on visual cues. If you suddenly find that your vision or insight center [your third eye] is overloaded with information, trying to close the guide will only increase your anxiety, just like blindness, the hunter-collector will make your heart race.
Humans instinctively fear the darkness. If you feel too much intuitive, it would be more helpful to turn up the internal lights than to try to turn it off.
3] Learn to cultivate a sense of calmness. Ok, so you shouldn't review the information, but it seems too much: how do you find a balance?
Try to concentrate on yourself, either alone or in direct meditation. Repeating the mantra or listening to the sings of Deva Premal or Krishna Das can help your mind relax without partitioning. Ideally, what you want can attract you into your heart instead of playing hide-and-seek. Focus on your heart wheel [in the middle of your chest] and imagine warm, golden, pink or green light pulsating in a slow, radiant beat. As the impressions fly into your mind, bring them into your heart, feel and hear a loving response. In the Christian tradition, Jesus said: "Perfect love will eliminate fear," do you know? It actually did it! Experiment, you will find that saturating yourself with unconventional sympathy will immediately eliminate the trouble.
Considering that the words "fear" and "sacred" contain all the same components, they are only slightly rearranged. We don't need to remove things to make them holy. We just need to change our perspective. In her Awakenned Heart Meditation CD, teacher Sally Kempton observed that in Sanskrit, the word heart chakra, hridaya, is also the "highest gateway to reality." Let your heart balance the overload of your mind's information.
4] Have fun! Your attitude towards these newly discovered gifts determines most of your experience. An intuitive hit close to fear, life becomes a series of terrible predictions and hunches. On the other hand, identifying a nudge from the universe can save you a lot of time, energy and heartache. Many people find that the enhancement of intuition coincides with the enhanced performance. If you have read or heard about "secrets," you already know that your thoughts will affect your reality. Why not enjoy the fun of creating more of the life you want? Practice the arrogant, happy days. Synchronization is required. Keep your intentions in line with the best interests of all and show beauty in front of you.
They say that God is in the details, but they also say that God has a wonderful sense of humor. It is said that the ability to understand jokes in another language is indicative of fluency. When you start to get the spiritual whisper, you will smirk into the universe. Life becomes a comedy, and in drama, comedy always means a happy ending. Reduced!
5] Seek guidance. Just because you suddenly get more information doesn't mean you. When you graduate, you still have a professor. Life offers unlimited opportunities for learning and identification. If you are not sure about the guide, please ask for clarity. If anything extends to the boundaries of reason, you can ask for a tailored logo to activate your faith.
The Bible story of Gideon reminds us that we can pray for interactive lessons. God told Gideon to save the Israelites and guide them to fight against the enemy. Gideon felt inclined to believe in God, but because other people and his life were threatened, he asked for a sign. Specifically, he asked that if the Israelis should participate in the battle, the wool he placed on the ground would be wet and the ground would still be dry. The next morning, he found that the wool was wet and the ground was dry, so he felt that God had responded to his request. However, he wants to be sure, so he asks for another sign. This time, he asked for wetlands and dry wool. The next morning, he found dry wool on the wet ground. He knew he could confidently lead the Israelis against their enemies. Just like Gideon's intuition, the Israelites won.
You can ask for any logo you like, but don't be surprised when the incident responds. Occasionally, you gain experience and it's easier to feel which pushes come from intuition and which are self-prediction predictions. If you find yourself clinging to your intuition and trying to manipulate it, use it as a sign of re-reading the recommendations in this article, starting on the 1st. Self breeds fear, competition, anger, attachment, obsession and anxiety. In contrast, the fruits of the spirit include: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, kindness, loyalty, gentleness and self-control.
It takes courage to wake up your intuition, but you will also learn to love your life. I wish you many blessings on your journey!
