There are many good reasons to scrap photos! Some of them may seem logical, while others may never have been thought of.
The primary reason for discarding pictures is... *Encourage *Save them! Yes, by using acid-free materials [including page protectors and appropriate glue], you can retain your precious memories for future generations.
Second, if your legacy is important to you, then you will want to naturally retain your photos.
Your children and grandchildren will appreciate being able to review them and where their ancestors came from! This is the third reason you should be abandoned.
This is a hobby! Scrapbooking has become one of the most popular arts and crafts hobbies in the United States. You can combine so many different elements in your layout. You can use paint, metal, plastic, buttons, beads, ribbons, fabrics, wires and sooooo more!
The fifth reason for discarding is... it's fun! You can get together with your girlfriend and join a party or crop. A lot of pizza, sugar, and of course scrap!
Use scrap as a vent for treatment. Sometimes discarding difficult memories can make it easier for you to cope with this situation. I have abandoned a painful miscarriage, looked at the photos, cried, and relived the memories, but when I finished, I felt much better. Sometimes people need this treatment. It is a bit like a chicken soup of the soul.
Seventh... You can be as creative as you want. Creativity can make you feel proud and healthy self-esteem, especially when others comment on how good your work is!
You can finally get rid of all the shoe boxes in the closet or under the bed and sort them out! Organizing helps me stay focused and complete my tasks, especially when my two young people are running around!
What is the ninth reason? Learn about your photography skills! Learn new ways to take great and memorable photos, capture moments and tell stories.
The ultimate reason for scrapping ..... they made a great personal gift! It is not necessarily a huge 30-page album. A mini album will be a success, and the people who get it will appreciate how much thought and creativity you put into their wonderful gifts!
So now you have at least ten reasons to scrapbook, so take out those photos and go shoot! The most important thing is to have fun!
