The cycling team is organized by corporate sponsors. Each team may include up to 30 drivers, 8 of whom [9 to 2018] were selected for each major tour - the Italian Tour de France, the Tour de France and the Spanish Cycling. Although many teams often have several drivers from the sponsor's country, this is not required. According to their rankings, each team selected 18 teams and the game organizer provided four additional positions to select wildcards. These choices are usually, but not always, given to the host country's team.
Time and focus
The cycling season is long and arduous, including a one-day "classic", several multi-day trips, and of course three Grand Tours. Few athletes are able to maintain the best physical condition of all three major tournaments, which is why the team often allows different drivers to focus on different tournaments.
