Recalling the game of playing euchre and 500 kids and the time we spent growing up. For me, this fascination is a math class every time we play. Later in college, many students gathered at the table in the student dormitory, and the cards were always on the agenda.
We all have fun and the challenges are exciting. However, almost no one is playing cards now, because computers and Xbox games have taken over in many homes. My little grandchildren spent hours in front of the TV, holding the joystick in their hands, doing something without intellectual advantage. Even adults can enjoy what they can do on their computer instead of enjoying the table with their family.
In recent years, my efforts have been extended to Bridge, and 500 games have been played in local clubs, which hold meetings on a week-long night. It is interesting to see how many old people enjoy the night like me, and the competitiveness of this kind of effort.
The brain needs an irritating age, no better way to exercise, not the way to think of yourself in a card game. Can young people not benefit from it? Although my generation grew up in a different world, television and computers have not been invented, but my children now think they are smarter because they can surpass me on the computer. As long as they know what they missed.
