Book Review Comments Jeff Ashton's "Imperial Justice"

Sometimes, it is more strange than fiction. Do you remember your position at 10 am on October 3, 1995? I remember riding with a colleague and waiting for a verdict called the "Century Trial" - OJ Simpson double murder trial. When OJ is declared "innocent", if someone is orbiting the Earth, I am sure he will see the earth tremble.

Although there seems to be obvious motivation and rich evidence of guilt - in the end, OJ was acquitted of the death of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, who was an inhaled model that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. [By the way, in December 2008, when he tried to "recycle" sports souvenirs with guns, he was sentenced to 33 years in prison for armed robbery, so justice caught up with OJ Simpson.]

Jeff Ashton served as the chief prosecutor and opposed another famous murderer, Kathy Anthony, who had written an unfettered trial report that shocked Florida's imperfect justice. In 2008, Casey Anthony was accused of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Kelly. Although she reported that Kelly was missing, Casey's lies and misconduct indicated that she was a mother who was tired of raising children. On the contrary, it seems that Kathy Anthony wants a girl with a consensus party... even a tattoo on her back, indicating that she got the "Bellavita" a few weeks after Kelly's death [meaning "beautiful life"].

Ashton's case of sharing the lawsuit should be a conviction of Casey's dunk. However, in less than 24 hours of clarification, the jury declared that Casey was not guilty because her daughter had died. The shock and anger that the public felt was the source of all the news organizations that reported the case. Kathy Anthony was taken away from the new life under the cover of darkness, and Kelly seemed to have little justice. When the verdict was announced in July 2011, the Earth might tremble again.

Imperfect justice reminds readers that despite the guilty verdict, the biggest injustice is that a child is killed and discarded like ordinary garbage. Ashton shared the investigator's journey with the huge lies that Casey said. Kathy's parents, the changing nature of George and Cindy Anthony, and their inconsistency led to the issue of prosecution; and his dissatisfaction with Casey Anthony's chief defense attorney Jose Bates. There is a complete color in the middle of the book, including photos of the Casey party, the car that smells the death, and various photos of the Anthony family.

Since Ashton postponed retirement for six months to complete the case, you must endure a bit of sensation and self-exaggeration. Ashton was one of the first advocates to participate in DNA forensics; he positioned himself as a typical science nerd. Despite a little peacock pressure, after reading the details of the prosecution, you will be beaten and Casey Anthony is acquitted.

And peace, Kelly Anthony, and sometimes to some extent, the balance of justice will greatly prove your unfortunate death.
