What do you notice first when you talk to someone?
The answer is a simple "smile", a beautiful smile is something we all crave. It opened up our personality, gave us confidence, and helped other areas, such as job interviews, gatherings, etc.
Although they are very important to us, unfortunately, people are now less concerned about their teeth and more concerned about their comfort, which is why most people around the world today suffer from various dental problems.
According to the World Health Organization [WHO], nearly 95% of children and 100% of adults are facing some form of dental disease.
This is a situation in which a single house cannot be found, at least one of the family members does not have any oral disease. Most importantly, tooth pain and tooth decay are no longer considered a problem.
This situation is indeed worrying, and a large part of it should be attributed to us. Yes, as mentioned earlier, this is true; our bad habits always make us better. Therefore, in order to achieve better oral health, some basic dental care skills must be followed.
Before completing these recommendations, we want to make it clear that these tips are not something we have not heard before; these are some of the basic rules we should follow. let's start:
1] Brush your teeth every day: From our childhood, the most basic thing we have taught is to brush your teeth twice a day. This is basically the first thing we should do in the morning.
But how many of us follow this?
The answer is simple, "very few."
We can't follow this simple rule, just because we are too lazy, it is a very regrettable thing. In the long run, this laziness makes us pay a heavy price. Earlier this problem was mainly directed at children, but now it has spread to everyone, regardless of age group. So we repeat again, sometimes at the Nth time, brushing our teeth every day.
2] Pick up the right toothbrush: When we talk about brushing our teeth every day, we tend to forget the most complete part of the "toothbrush." It is widely believed that the toothbrush should be used until it is scratched and all the bristles fall off and this is completely wrong. Change the brush every 3 months. Make sure to choose a toothbrush whose head and bristles can reach the inside of the molars.
3] Avoid dry mouth: Dry mouth can cause many diseases. In order to protect your teeth, saliva must pass through your mouth often, and once stopped, you will face the number of dental diseases. The best way to keep your saliva in your mouth is to drink plenty of water. You can also consider using drugs, but they are not always effective.
4] Avoid junk food and harmful products: Our oral health depends to a large extent on what we eat, a normal person who tends to pursue junk food and where problems arise. Excessive amounts of these foods can have a serious effect on our teeth, causing pain in the teeth, yellowing of the teeth, and even tooth decay. After trying, always try to choose only homemade food and brush/floss.
5] Visit your dentist: In all the tips, this may be the most difficult for those who just hate visiting dentists. You may not like your dentist, but trust us and visiting them regularly is the wisest thing you can do. Your dentist knows everything about your teeth. During routine inspections, he will check them correctly and may suggest that you use some medications properly. In short, we can say that for healthy and bright teeth, you must go to the dentist.
We all know the above tips; just let us follow them. After all, our teeth are like our lifelines; treat them kindly and live a happy life.
