Have you joined the Kombucha boom? I just learned about this unique drink before I started seeing it at all of my local grocery stores. On a whim, I decided to give it a try and found myself very curious.
After an online survey, I learned how much CommScope tea can help with digestion. The bacteria present in Kombucha are ideal for establishing digestive flora and making the entire digestion process more efficient. This efficiency can actually help you lose excess weight that you may carry. It's good to drink only a little drink.
One thing that didn't stop me from jumping on the Kombucha train immediately was the cost. A bottle of this magical drink is about $4. If you plan to use it as a regular additive to a healthy diet, this is a heavy price.
so what should I do? I did some research and started making my own research. There are many tutorials online, I can find some of my favorites here and here. But I want to try the whole process from scratch - yes, I want to develop my own SCOBY.
SCOBY is an abbreviation for "symbiotic colonies of bacterial yeast". You can purchase these products online for between $10 and $15. When I was excited about the growth of Kombucha, I decided that if I were going to do it, I would go all the way. I plan to do everything in a cheap way and do it from as many scratches as possible.
This is the easiest way to develop your own SCOBY to start your own homemade red teapot.
step 1 from
: Buy a bottle of premium Kombucha at your local grocery store or health food store.
Step 2 from
: Mix a cup of brewed black tea with a spoonful of sugar to make a cup of sugared tea. Set aside and cool to room temperature.
Step 3 from
: Pour the Kombucha bottle into a glass jar.
Step 4 from
: Cover the jar with a paper towel or rag and secure it with a rubber band.
Step 5 from
: Place the jar in the dark corner of the kitchen or kitchen.
Step 6 from
: Waiting for two weeks, SCOBY is formed on the surface.
Step 7 from
: Start brewing your first kombucha with the new self-starting SCOBY!
While you can easily buy SCOBY to start your Kombucha brewing adventure, make a fun and experimental experiment from the ground up to make your kitchen alive. I encourage you to try and start harvesting the health benefits of Kombucha as soon as possible!
