Your vacation rental and processing neighbors

I "

You are considering turning your house into a vacation rental. Have you ever thought about your neighbor? How will they react? Will they be positive about this change?

Here are some ideas to make sure you react positively to your new business:

1] Notify them in advance, Months to six months.

2] Ask for their feedback.

3] Educate them. Explain that by turning your house into a vacation rental, you are improving your property and screening tenants. In other words, you will have highly qualified people living in your home, which is ultimately a more stable way to rent, rather than a typical rental. In fact, typical rental situations are full of issues such as damage to leases, noisy activities, and even illegal activities! Your property will improve, which means your neighbor's property value will increase!

In addition, you will contribute to the welfare of your town by embracing the tourism industry. Your guests will dine at local restaurants, buy groceries at local shops, and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant. This is good for the entire town, including your neighbors!

4] Guarantee your neighbors You will extend the same courtesy to them as they are there. You will be asked to keep your guests quiet and just park in front of your house or in the garage. If they bring pets, you will be asked to bring them to the room after 9pm.

5] Have an open house And invite your neighbors. Share the passion and enthusiasm of what you are doing.

6] Give them your contact information If they have any doubts or special problems with the guests. Encourage them to share with you when they have problems, concerns or problems.

Showing an attitude that is willing to resolve any challenges, your neighbors are likely to have a positive attitude.
