The last day of your work or career determines most of your life as an adult, which can cause a lot of shock. The next image is blurry at best. The old model of retirement is rapidly changing as the 77 million baby boomers cross the retirement threshold and reinvent their retirement to accommodate future visions.

The answer to the question of what you will do now after retirement is of course personal and personal. However, there are a few themes that can guide your own retirement life design process based on what happens through the Boomer peer group. There are five related here. Truth from

This is not your father's retirement.

Your father may have become a model of the old retirement model, completed a retirement party, then repaired around the house, then looked around for hobbies and spent most of his time fishing with his brother. But it was then, now it is. That is him, this is you.

When you enter retirement, you may have higher expectations and be determined to find meaningful efforts that will keep you engaged and purposeful for many years to come.

You will need social connections, personal goals and spiritual stimulation, and financial security when you retire.

If you choose to continue working in the workplace, you will work well together

If you think about your retirement, you will become a majority, not a minority. Retirement studies show that most retirees [nearly 80%] plan to work part-time at least after retirement. Only 23% of people plan to stop working completely. A labor force study covering 2006-2011 found that people aged 55 and older showed growth while others declined. from
