What is a scrapbook?

Scrapbooking is a hobby, and the end result is a beautiful album full of photos, memories and text. This is a hobby that you can enjoy at any time, for all ages, yourself or a group. This is a good hobby, you can do it at your own pace and your own unique style.

Each scrapbook you create tells a story. For us, this is usually the story of holidays and travel. For others, this may be the story of a wedding, graduation, and baptism - the list is endless.

Please note that when you start scraping your first album, you will consider the next album and you will soon become addicted!

Your scrapbook or scrapbook is not only your baby, you can share it with your loved ones, but it will also be enjoyed by future generations.

Imagine your future is great, great grandchildren will see the story in your life!

In the past, a simple photo album might be used to show special photos, although creating a Scrapbook would take it to a whole new level and allow you to do more. For example, in the scrapbook, you will be able to include personal souvenirs such as tickets, certificates, receipts, postcards... all the unique extras that are usually collected will be hidden in a box.

A very important part of your page will also be a diary, which will allow you to tell a little story, share some secrets or tell jokes about photos. Once again, these little memories will be lost, but each time you open the album, it will now revisit and re-record.

A very important part of the scrapbook is that all materials used are acids and lignin, which is essential. Most papers contain acid, which can damage the photo over time and cause the photo to fade. Most papers also contain lignin, a natural component of wood. Over time, lignin breaks down and becomes acidic.

Based on my personal experience, I reviewed the album created for my honeymoon in 1997, and I was horrified to find that the photo album around the photo was yellow and the page began to curl. I am so sad. This is why it is so important to use paper and stickers that are free of acid and lignin. This is also why the scrapbook will pass down to generations that still look original, while ordinary photo albums will deteriorate and in a few short years the situation is not good.

Your scrapbook album will reflect your style - it's a bit like installing a room in your house!
