Thirukkural of Thiruvalluvar

Thirukkural, meaning "sacred couplet", is a Tamil classic written by St. Tiruvallois. The author is said to have lived in a period between the 1st century BC and the 8th century AD. This is the only document that has been translated into many languages ​​of the world. These verses hold principles and information treasures that can be applied to any occasion, field and time, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Thirukkural has three main parts, such as justice, resources or wealth, as well as love and happiness. Among the above three categories, 1,330 couplets are consecutively arranged into 133 chapters, 10 in each chapter. The names of these chapters are self-explanatory to understand what the author wants to disseminate and guide.
