Your business is more than just marketing, revenue and strategy. It has a higher purpose. It connects you to others. It provides the impact you want and your unique positive contribution to the world.
In order to make this happen, you must bring your entire self to the things you are doing.
When I work with clients, we talk a lot about the authenticity of marketing. Authenticity includes bringing your thinking brain into the process and strategy. Authenticity includes feeling your self to your marketing: laughter and emotion, your passion for what you do.
Authenticity also includes another area. Integrating your true self into your marketing and business includes bringing you spiritual self and your sacred connection.
Connecting with the spirit of self means that you can market not for desperation but for service. You can use your intuition, inner guidance, and incorporate your knowledge and emotions to achieve higher goals.
There is an African word, Ubuntu, which means "I am because of you." I used to have a meeting in an African hut and I painted the word outside. The cottage is located in a village frequently visited by South African leader Nelson Mandela. Every morning, he walked through the village, reaching out to everyone he met and contacting them, just like you are with your marketing staff and connected with your career.
In Mandela's honour, an art installation called "Freedom Trail" was created on his sidewalk, black and polished metal pillars, 4 feet high on one side of the path, with vision, freedom, courage, Resilience, empathy, trust and other words, and unity. Ubuntu Linux system.
Ubuntu tells us about our relationship. "I am because of you" - your spiritual self knows this. It knows that we are all connected to each other. Therefore, whether you bring it into the world and contribute in a positive way will affect us all.
One way to bring spiritual self directly into marketing is to understand our interrelationships, and we are all part of a larger whole.
You can provide yourself and what you bring by seeking unconsciousness, the universe, God, the soul, and whatever you want to call. What should I share, which will help bring positive and beneficial things to the world? How will I share it so that people can hear it?
"I am because of you" - Ubuntu. We all have contact. When you bring yourself to what you do, you can make a difference.
