In the past few years, scrapbooking techniques and tools have matured and more and more scrapbooking ideas have been discovered and shared in the scrapbooking community.
This article contains some of my favorite scrapbook ideas, tips and tricks that I would like to share with you.
o If you have photos and the background is busy, consider scanning the image and printing it in black and white. You can also zoom in on the image and crop out the busy part of the background.
Another idea is to use your craft supplies and cover any decorations you don't want to see or add some words using a stripped or custom rubber stamp.
o If you want to write or draw directly on a photo, I recommend that you print a copy. Not only does this mean that you have a spare, it will also remove some of the gloss from the original image if the design doesn't solve it, making it easier to write.
o Many people ask ' what is the best way to attach kraft paper to the scrapbook page. ' Vellum is perspective, so most glue is visible. When using kraft paper as part of a scrapbook idea, try using Brad, eyelets, staples, ribbons, paper clips or glue.
o Most craftsmen use professional acid-free pens in their scrapbook supplies. You mistakenly believe that the best way to store these pens is to stand upright with the pen tip facing down. The best way to store the pen is horizontal, as this allows the ink to be evenly distributed throughout the bucket.
o To make your scrapbook or scrapbook quote stand out on your scrapbook page, create 3D by adding a layer of extra-thick embossed powder. Alternatively, you can use 3D glaze. This technology will bring new dimensions to your scrapbook page.
o If you want to see the appearance of a stitch in your photo, decoration or text, you can use the peel, rub or simply draw a dash to create the effect of the stitch. If you feel more adventurous, why not actually sew!
o Using brads as part of a scrapbook idea is a great way to refine your scrapbook page layout. When you connect the dice to double-sided scrapbook paper, you may face the dilemma of how to cover the fasteners on the back of the paper. The easiest way to avoid this problem is to attach the brads to the label, the corner of the photo or the decoration, and then paste it onto the page.
When organizing your scrapbook ideas, it's a good idea to plan ahead. Lay the page before sticking the pages together to see if there are any changes to make before security is in place.
