Revisiting the wasteland

The wasteland will never break away from the shrinking circle of literature. By narrowing the circle, I mean literary works that have caught the reader's attention from the beginning. The publication of masterpieces of the 20th century has a history of nearly one hundred years. It was very fresh at the time; it is fresh now; it will always be fresh. The ode to the dry season from the cruelest month of April to the dry season still refers to the current human society. Of course, Eliot knows how to create a masterpiece forever!

The wasteland takes a negative preaching approach. From the beginning, this poem will bring you to the dark side of the world. The darkness of the world is the creation of human society, nothing else. In the era of Elliot's close-up poem, the darkness is obvious. In the process of industrial and material development, today's darkness has deepened. As our world is moving forward, the darkness will surpass the sun... When will it happen?

Eliot cried for the fall of human society, the loss of human emotions, the viability of war, and the collapse of faith. In the future, he must demand progress. Despite this, the Hiroshima disaster in the Second World War subverted his hopes! What do the examples of modern warfare and terrorism prove? People don't want to water the wasteland. Human society has developed a mechanism to enjoy the flowers of cactus and despise the freshness of roses.

What should the poet do? Poetry must serve happiness and wisdom. However, it saw people forget to learn from poetry. They are just for fun. In this case, the wilderness must serve the world as a roar of an injured poet! Human society cannot understand Eliot's beliefs. Smart social animals failed to adapt to Shantih Shantih Shantih's message. They could not understand Eliot's wisdom. He prescribed a panacea for the world in the form of da, datta and dayadhvam.

I am confused about the poem "The Waste Land". Is Eliot really capable of creating masterpieces? Or he just understands that the world is getting crazy, never going back to the track and defeating the drums of fallen humans. Either way, we should accept our failure in the hands of Elliott. Will the world change?
