Photo reading - very inefficient speed reading

PhotoReading is a bit gray in the field of speed reading. Is this a complete scam? Well, very likely, but there are still qualities of advocates and redemptions. Is this a good tool for us high schools, universities, etc? No, maybe not. Let's first take a look at the pros and cons of our school, then we will look at the Photoreading scam, and finally a better solution to incorporate photoreading into your speed reading program without wasting time.

First of all, direct down and dirty facts:

learning curve: from

Compared to other speed reading methods, Photoreading requires a lot of training, practice and learning to get a "photograph" book. If you get a "classic" course, by the way, it costs $245, and plans to spend about 10 hours on various course materials, exercises, and more. If you get a luxury course, plan to spend twice as much and at least 4 hours of classic lessons plus extra time from

.

Read time: from

It takes about 30-40 minutes to plan for the Photo Reading section, depending on your level of experience and the length of the book. Then according to your level of experience, the length of the book, speed reading WPM and other plans to spend another 40-3 hours to "activate" the part.

Understand / understand: from

For me personally, there is almost nothing. Although I don't have a photo of 500 books as an advocate saying they have it, I have read at least 15 books and have never had any understanding of the photo reading section. It almost came to me during the "activation" period, and I almost just accelerated reading the whole book and thinking about it.

Bottom line: from

If you need to read a book in a day [they recommend waiting at least one sleep cycle between photo repair and activation], don't use Photoreading, if you need to understand the book, remember the details or something similar, please don't use It's that. Basically, there is no reason for SchoolDestroyer.com users to want to use Photoreading.

Positive things: from

In the course, Photoreading, DOES teaches one or two good normal speed reading techniques, and teaches mind maps, a very effective note-taking process. It also does a very good job of teaching the correct way of thinking, but it takes too much time to be considered "effective."
Read on to learn how to use the basic photo reading principles for effective learning!

Is the photo a scam?

It depends on what you call a scam. It certainly does not live up to the promises in sales communications, it does not apply to many people, and some even claim that it is a copy of the ZOB speed reading system. So this could be a scam. Let me give you some examples of crazy statements made in the sales newsletter that does not meet the following requirements:

  • We actually teach you to "photograph" the printed page at a speed of 25,000 words per minute.

  • You can even write PhotoRead as a dictionary, think about any word and know where it is on the page!

  • PhotoReading technology is part of a larger system called PhotoReading, which makes it ideal for everyday use.

[Please note that these are copied/pasted].

So how do I use the photo principle to do it for myself?

Ah, this is the juicy part of the post! Good things from Photoreading, we can extract and check. First, remember the two principles they teach:

1. Maintain an ideal reading mentality

2. After reading, imagine a book as a book

You can easily apply these two techniques to your reading right away. If you want an abridged version of the actual "photo reading" process that is used accurately, check out in an efficient and efficient reading system [Ed Stracher reads Genius 2.0]. In that process, one of the steps you take while reading a book is to "copy" it, which is basically a photo fix, except that it takes less than 2 minutes instead of 40 minutes. 2 minutes seems very effective for me!
