One of the best mountain bike trails in the northern county of San Diego

San Diego's climate ranges from the northern Mediterranean to the semi-arid south and east, and is often described as perfect, with mild sunshine in most parts of the year. A variety of San Diego terrain creates some climate differences called microclimates. Temperatures rarely deviate from the comfort range of 50 to 77 degrees on the coast, with an average rainfall of about 10 inches. San Diego's terrain is as varied as the climate, with low-lying coastal areas and adjacent mesa to inland canyons and hills. When planning to cycle in the county, it is best to prepare according to the microclimate of the cycling area.

Combined with near-ideal weather, the terrain of the area offers many superior locations, from the mild coastal plains, especially in the northern coastal areas of San Diego. The coastal area has long rides or is close to the northern coast and can be used all year round.

A lot of enjoyment...
