Improve reading comprehension speed reading: Five things you must learn

Think a little about it? How many times have you been in this situation? You want to read and learn complex text. How much information it contains is overwhelming. When you look at this book, when your thoughts are full of problems, you will feel overwhelming fear. Where should I start? What should I study? How can I learn this? Fortunately, all of these questions have a simple answer. When you learn five things you must always learn, you can improve your reading comprehension even when you are speeding. You can start to relax.

There is an acronym that makes it easy to remember the five items you have to learn. The acronym is ABCOQ. The letter "A" represents an abstraction of the term, or a new vocabulary word. "B" stands for Biography, or the name of the person described in the text. "C" stands for the chronology, which is a shorthand for numbers, dates, and statistics. "O" means to create an outline of all the titles found in the text and find the four key points covered in each section. Finally, "Q" represents all the questions in your book.

The next time you have complex text, you will need to learn new vocabulary, names, numbers, key points and questions. What do you think you still need to learn to master any subject? In a future article, I will cover each of these five projects in more detail and describe how to learn them.
