From I-10 to Pass Road in Bilkesey is Popps Ferry Road. At the heart of this angler's road is the Popps Ferry Bridge. Separating the Mul Fish Lake from the Big Lake near Biloxi's Back Bay, the waters are home to a healthy population of saltwater and freshwater fish.
Location and direction
From Exit 44 of Interstate 10 [Cedar Lake Road], drive south. The second red light intersects Popps Ferry Road. Turn west along Popps Ferry Road and you can reach the foot of the bridge of the same name. The last road in front of the Causeway Road will take you to the bridge and the public pier and boat ramp.
Warnings and instructions
The 3,900-foot Popps Ferry Bridge is an important part of the Coastal Channel [ICW].
