Book Review: Green Deen: What Islamic Teachers Are About Protecting the Earth, Abdul Matin

Among the popular knowledge in the United States, Islam is associated with suicide bombers and similar acts. But Ibrahim has more things, not suicide bombers, and portrays the United States as a great Satan, just as Ibrahim Abdul Martin is in his book "Green Grace." : Islamist teachers say about protecting the planet.

Abdul-Matin is an African American whose parents converted to Islam. Therefore, Abdul grew up to become a Muslim. He now writes a book emphasizing that Islam is concerned with protecting the planet.

The idea of Abdul's writing this book is to change the way Americans think about Islam. In this book, Abdul puts forward his interpretation of the Qur'an and Islam and emphasizes that Islam has always been concerned with protecting the planet.

Abdul Martin also wrote many controversial topics and used Iswhim monotheism [Tawhid or oneness] as an important factor in saving the planet. This interpretation of Abdu is seriously flawed because Islam is a monotheistic religion, but it does not have the privilege of saving the planet. In fact, Martin did not comment on the fact that the Qur'an mentioned jihad or jihad 44 times and there was hardly any error about protecting the earth.

Abdul-Matin's book has four parts. They are: waste, watts, water and food. These chapters are self-explanatory, and "watt" refers to energy. In the four parts of the book, Martin is associated with the scriptures in the Qur'an, but one can see that it is a tired citation, and Abdul tries to connect them, but in reality they It is for something else.

However, Abdul does provide rational advice that needs to be understood. He pointed out the adverse effects of waste and the abuse of energy in the world. He also talked about the protection of water and food and how to avoid wasting and feeding people.

Abdul talked about "Dern", which actually meant a road or philosophy. But his view is that the monotheistic view of Islam combined with saving the planet may not be accepted by many readers.

Martin writes with enthusiasm and conviction that he has a good grasp of English. Throughout the book, the author introduces several American Muslims who are committed to the environment. This is a good understanding of the work many Muslims have done to save the planet.

Abdul-Martin wrote this book from the perspective of changing the Americans. Views on Islam. He writes with the enthusiasm of the convert and tries to convey his message. But in general, this book would have been better without a reference to the Koran.
