Editha's story claims a fairly common and outdated view of the war and its acclaimed days. The story itself reflects the charm and prestige that the World War II film portrays, or what they do. Of course, this short story test emphasizes that war is essential for beauty and community life. In some ways, I can prove this, but this is a straightforward conclusion. The author seems to surround this story with the lives of a couple.
It almost looks like an epic love story. Her feelings and desire for the glory that war brings to lovers are convincing and fascinating. For the author, the war is to bring the winners out and almost eliminate the losers of those wars. Think about it, the war that has happened in the past will only bring terror and destruction. I personally believe that war is never a necessary tool to achieve common goals.
As a devout Christian, conflict and struggle are the primary issues we want to repeal. However, it is regrettable that war is unavoidable. In our historical process, a major war occurred every 100 years, trying to change the system in which the world operates. With the emergence of new superpowers, the balance will change and countries will begin to clash. Sadly, the war will happen. Movies, story books and other literary devices will continue to beautify their image because people need a way to escape reality and think about action movies or comics. Humans cannot bear the pain of war. We always have more creative sources to hide our feelings about war, but as I said, this is a sad fact in life.
