Why low calorie is not a successful way to lose weight

In countries experiencing famine, obesity is not a problem. In many developing countries, poverty is the norm. It is common to see overweight mothers bringing malnourished children to NGO medical clinics.

Studies have shown that this is the case in South America, the Pacific Islands and the Caribbean. It's not that mothers are greedy, but that the high-carbohydrate diet they eat will make them fat and their children will get sick.

In developed countries, broken record diet information is to reduce the amount of food and exercise. When you starve yourself at the same time as you dream of food and walk around in hunger, you can of course lose weight, but how long it will last.

If you eat 2,000 calories a day and you drop to 1500 in the short term, you will lose weight, but soon your metabolism will be reduced to 1500 and your weight loss will stop. Studies have shown that this can occur in diets as low as 800 calories.

All corporate weight loss systems rely on short-term losses to allow customers to pay for plans or food. Then they insisted for a longer time, hoping to keep losing money, and believe that it is their problem to keep the plan properly.

According to Choice magazine, the world's largest low-calorie business has a 2% success rate in two years. If people don't join any group at all, this number will be lower than expected.

There are several reasons for the low success rate.

  1. A low fat plan means using extra carbohydrates, which in turn turn into fat.
  2. Artificial sweeteners are used in some products to replace sugar, but as modern research shows, these sweeteners cause food starvation, weight gain and type 2 diabetes.
  3. They absorb all calories and are equal. So you can use your points to eat vegetables or chocolate brownies, which may make their customers feel better, but the nutrition is insane!
Of course, there are many such companies that are no different from the food models delivered. I know that many people have a freezer filled with this low-calorie food. As everyone knows, it is very difficult for most people to cancel any membership.

As long as you stick to the low calorie model, you will feel hungry and disappointed, you will lose some weight and get it again and again.
