Why do I need motorcycle insurance?

Most people who buy mopeds never buy insurance for them. Perhaps they think that if someone steals it, they will get a new one, and their insurance is to buy a very good lock. Yes, I also have one of them. I certainly don't want my custom scooter to be stolen, riding is fun, gasoline is cheap, and when I drive, I feel as if I am helping the US to break her addiction to foreign oil in the Middle East. As a proud citizen, I can do the least.

In fact, paying $3.50 to fill the car with petrol and cruising around the town for two weeks is also a good thing, especially when the people next to the pump around me can't help filling Suburban with $185. A moped is a good way to save money. Yes, there is no doubt that it is an environmentally friendly and less powerful means of transportation. However, when buying insurance for a small two-wheeler, don't overdo it. Why are you asking?

Well, the first time insurance from mopeds is very cheap, so not buying it is stupid, and secondly, if you break the law, this is the law of many states, all of a sudden, you are not such a great citizen after all. Even if you have your own moped and don't guarantee its value, you must take responsibility insurance to prevent accidents. Let me tell you a little story.

A friend of mine rode his moped and gestured. Obviously another car didn't see him and hit him to let him enter the next lane. A car hurriedly missed him and hit a fire hydrant. Yes, I know that you have seen the final urban waterscape before. The car that hit the fire hydrant continued to hit the pole and the airbag deployed. The driver was injured and hit his car to move on.

No one got the license plate number and even saw another car hit my friend. Fortunately, my friend has liability insurance for his moped, which covers all damage [city = $10,000 and vehicle = $22,000] and small hospital bills [$24,000 per day]. If he does not have insurance, he will be charged a penny. So, buy a moped insurance, it really doesn't cost that much.
