What killed your creativity?

As freelancers, we are dreamers, we like to see our dreams often become vivid, but what happens when your creativity is discovered now? Let's explore some of the most common reasons for lack of creativity, as well as some quick fixes to get you back on track.

Emphasize:

Stress is a major creative enemy, capable of sucking up these reserves and making you feel bad. Who can make it when the bill, the crying baby or the constantly stacked dirty dishes are panicked?

Repair:

Request for help. This seems to be common sense, but many people forget to ask for help. Everything from tableware to childcare can be outsourced to help you better handle the current situation. If the financial problem is your problem, you may also need to set a budget and stick to it through lean time to feel more control.

Fatigue:

All performers and athletes know that fatigue can ruin their performance. However, freelancers often light candles at both ends and stay in the early hours of the morning, returning to their desks in a few hours. This will blur your mind, leaving you with little energy to get out of bed, let alone create.

Repair:

Take a full rest and sleep at the same time every night. Maintaining a regular waking schedule will also help you get a better night's sleep. Other better ways to sleep include avoiding caffeine later in the afternoon and avoid working in the bedroom.

Meaningless work:

We have to pay the bills, but if you are accepting jobs you hate, then you are unlikely to succeed. You may also feel tragic and anxious as you travel through this never-ending job to finally get money.

Repair:

Deliver value to customers who can help you get the job you love. Of course, it goes without saying that high quality work will win high quality customers. In my opinion, this is one of the best explanations I have seen from the amazing Charlie Hearn that feels great and finds meaningful work.

Finally, it's important to stay healthy, get enough sleep, and ask for help when you need it. If you are still exhausted, you may want to explore your diet or other factors in your work environment to find the best method for you. Creativity is often essential for freelancers, and hopefully these techniques can help you develop your freedom.
