What is leadership?

Perhaps the shortest and simplest answer to "What is leadership?" Yes: no leadership. At least there is no typical leader, as the dictionary says, "is the act of leading a group of people or organizations." Or it is called "the country or status as a leader." The strange thing about these definitions is that they are all self-referential. The term leader is used to describe what leadership is. Therefore, it will never really tell you what the leader is.

Explain what leadership is as challenging as explaining a word without words. Like leadership, speech is self-referential.

Perhaps the leader has never had any relationship with others or followers. Maybe it has more to do with the future you announced. The question is: What is your announcement of the future? If you are the biggest declaration, then you will tie your shoes tomorrow, and you may not have the things you need to create a new future.

On the other hand, if you have the courage and commitment, you can claim that you will accomplish something so big that you can never do it yourself. For example, Henry Ford claims that most families own a car. To this end, he invited many very smart people to support this vision. By 1927, most families owned cars in the United States. Ford has a 60% market share.

On the surface, you might think that Henry Ford is bossy and tell people what to do. That is not leadership. This may have more to do with people trying to prove something to themselves or others. In fact, this may be a way to hide the deficiencies. However, this is another topic.

The leaders who announced the future also announced who they are. The first thing they announced was responsibility. If there is a problem, they will deal with adversity. If it is difficult for people to see the leader's vision, he or she will take the time to create understanding and unity. They are not only responsible for the project, but also responsible for how they interact with people. They know that their vision seems impossible at first.

Having said that, one way to distinguish one of the best leaders in an organization is to seek a high degree of responsibility and good communication. Although many people have good ideas and can be responsible, this is a completely different example when someone is responsible for ensuring understanding and coordination. This requires a high degree of commitment, patience and responsibility from others. I will never talk about becoming a servant leader. I said that in the face of adversity, or when things are not as expected, the leader will be the most powerful. They are more likely to get the order out of chaos, even if it means adding chaos to achieve order. They are happy to be responsible for everything.

When you look at leadership from the perspective of announcing the future, you will see a future that one has declared unfulfilled in the future. In most cases, the road to the future is full of unforeseen challenges, problems and breakdowns. These are the most avoided things. As a result, most people claim that they know what they can do. On the other hand, the leader will announce responsibility without the request of anyone. In addition, the leader does not necessarily tell others what to do. They are more likely to focus on the big picture and ask questions that nobody asks. They are responsible for communicating effectively with themselves and others. Also, in many cases, they have no answer. They may just have a responsible way to ask questions and get answers from others. When this happens, people may say they did it themselves.
