USASF certification

The USASF requires each coach to qualify for the level they are coaching [a total of five levels]. The coach's qualification process is divided into three parts, including written tests, hands-on tests, and hands-on experience forms. The process also focuses on the three core themes of cheerleading - tumbling, stunting and throwing. The goal of certification is to create a safer environment and train athletes to advance their skills. The price for the certificate is $75 for stunts [$15 per level], $75 for $15 [$15 per level], and $60 for $15 [$15 per level]. The certification lasts for a total of three years; when the certification expires, if the coach chooses to continue coaching, he must re-certify. The cost of recertification is $35 for each of the three subjects.
