We recognize Ruby Bridges as a civil rights leader and activist for a lifetime of work; we found an ugly comic, the history of ruby walking through a roaring angry crowd and the new education secretary Bezidivas portrayed as a ruby. This description illustrates the extent of understanding of racial discrimination in the United States.
But for racial conquest, Ruby Bridges doesn't need federal police to escort her to a segregated public school in New Orleans. But for racial hostility, she will not be taught in an isolated environment by Barbara Henry; her integrity gives her the brave child the best education she can offer her. The teacher Barbara Henry and her student Ruby represent the best of American heritage. This bridge experience was also captured in a retrospective called "Enduring Impact", which summarizes the historical impact of this heroic behavior.
Today, segregation is illegal in the United States and does not happen again. A lot of racism has left our society, but not all racism has been eliminated. I hope that one day, racism will become the only theme in history textbooks.
The Divis ' comic bridge is a classic of American culture. This cultural practice is summarized below in Bridget Cook's "Repairing African Americans at the World Columbia Exposition, Chicago, 1893 Race Representation." This excerpt explains why stereotypes are used to minimize the positive reality of African Americans. Whites have largely created a culture of apartheid to counter the success of blacks and create the myth of absolute racial differences to stop the rise. Racial essentialism, the concept of the personal identity of racial identity as determined by biology, the popularity of whites in the rise of the new black middle class and its increasing popularity, especially in cities.
This American heritage also extends to me, in Los Angeles, California, where I was born. I am ten years older than Ruby, but I attended a comprehensive school. My parenting family and my main teacher have also improved.
When I was in school at John Muir Junior High School, I always managed to show me my bus ticket and let me have a mile long trip to school. Enter my Barbara Henry, Mrs. Ackerman. Mrs. Ackerman is my science teacher and a German immigrant. She will find me on my way to school and express my gratitude to me for going to school by car.
Then she will let me enter her classroom early. In these early morning classes, she taught me a way to get to know my own special wisdom through a mini astronomy class, where she showed me what I thought about pushing the ability. I will leave John Muir and continue to graduate from the 1200th grade high school. This led to a university scholarship.
During these 58 years of working with Mrs. Ackerman these mornings, I showed my enthusiasm for this American heritage, the way in which students and faculty serve:
My first lady, she will become a high school principal in Colorado

Milken National Education Leader
Outstanding school in Colorado

For more than 140 years, I chose the first color and female of the school board.

More to explain. Thanks to colleagues Ruby, Barbara, Mrs. Ackerman.
