Peer and advanced mental health - talk about depression

Most of us believe that care must be concentrated on the mind, body and soul. When the elderly are lonely, they will feel as depressed as you and me. Humans need friendship, but we also need correct companionship. Perhaps like you, I firmly believe that the caregiver's personality matches their customers, and I find that many companies in the home care industry are not focused on this, which is very unfortunate. Matching a customer's personality can create positive relationships, stronger mental health, and stress-free family caregivers. Everyone has won.

Yes, it takes longer to find the right caregiver, but that doesn't matter, because in a good home care company, they are one of the complaints of many people in the industry. A true companion-based caregiver scenario is a scenario in which a customer is considered a family. The best way to achieve this is to make the right match so that caregivers and customers see each other as families, preferably in both directions.

A very good study was conducted in 2011 by the American Psychological Association's Journal of Health Psychology [Cite: Vol. 30, No. 4, 377-385. DOI: 10.1037 / a0022826]. The titles of the study are: Aparna Shankar, Anne McMunn, and Andrew Steptoe's "Loneliness, Social Separation, and Behavioral and Bio-Health Indicators for Older Adults." In summary, the research paper states:

"Loneliness and social isolation may affect health independently through the impact on healthy behavior. In addition, social isolation may also affect health through biological processes associated with cardiovascular disease development."

They are very surprised for those who work as caregivers. In fact, experts in the field have always said this. Older family members tell us that they are also very worried, which is usually one of the main reasons why they contact the company for family caregivers. I hope that you understand and agree with myself, family and empirical science.

I believe that older people should not be alone, we are here to serve, and we are happy to help our customers to live happily, healthily and compassionately. As our population ages, these issues become the most important issue, and our responsibility is to ensure that all relevant personnel are treated fairly and treated with dignity. Please do research and think about the people you need who know you. We must make such positive steps for everyone.
