The most common things people see when looking at a mirror are:
- Task to perform : Do you have a shave or no actual makeup? Seeing from
What about yourself? Have you noticed your presence without paying attention to your hair or teeth? Many people see images on the mirror, and nothing can be seen except for the parts of the body that need to work immediately. Even so, those parts are abstract noses, undefined hair, necessary teeth... they don't belong to them. They are as strange as they are because they will cut down the books in their hands later that day. They may spend 20 minutes repairing their hair instead of actually accepting or seeing any other part of their body. The rest is just a vague emptiness. - Negative characteristics of their minds Many people look at themselves in the mirror and only see what they are looking for: a big nose, a fat body, messy teeth, unruly eyebrows... anyway. They didn't really see themselves. What they are looking for defect from
They know from
They only saw those. They are close to the mirror and already know that the images it will give them are images of others. They do not consider those parts of the body in their own physical environment, but only as individual, problematic parts. Their eyes and brain can only perceive those. Once again, the rest of them will be just a vague illusion on them. - a stranger who has no contact : When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you think you really know the one who is staring at you? Or is it more like your own colored shadows, empty shells, no feelings, no souls, no copy of thoughts? Many people look at their photos and feel completely out of them. They feel that they are studying TV characters who are not in contact with themselves. It's like watching a portrait of another person they know vaguely.
- a mask Some people are very convinced that they are in a certain way, this is what their brain actually registers and lets them see... even if it is not true. A very obvious example is the obese or chubby image of anorexia in front of a mirror, because their reality may be painfully different from it. We all formed the images we saw in our minds. Sometimes these images are biased and transformed by our restrictive beliefs. When faced with them, we don't actually see what they are, but what we believe it will be.
Many people cannot describe themselves accurately because they never take the time to really look at them. Because they didn't like their own ideas, at some point they decided to stop looking completely. When they start stacking masks on the mask or just avoid seeing their reflections on any surface.
If I tell you, what if you are not looking back at you from the bathroom or bedroom mirror every morning?
If you don't believe me, please check it out for yourself. Now pick up a mirror and see, truly look at your existence, with your humanity, yourself, in Your self. from
Look at your eyes first. Look at their color and depth, in their gaze, the way they are surrounded by eyelashes and the frame of eyebrows. Then, surf the rest of your body and find one of your favorite things. Look at it. Really, really look at it and enjoy its beauty. It's perfect and lacking. This is reality. It's lonely. Its uniqueness. This is a singularity.
Just watch and continue to find your face little by little. I just saw it. Analyze your shoulders; what kind of lips do you have; how your chin forms your mouth.
Observe how far your eyes are from the other eye, how many freckles are on your face, and if so, how your hair color and skin color combine.
You may want to go back to your old habit of "invisible". Not yet, please. Give yourself a chance. A little more time. Make a conscious effort and look at your eyes again. Go deep into the heart and try to see the real you, the being, the soul. Feel pain, sadness, love, compassion, gentleness... Make your feelings what they need. Stay with yourself for a while. Now look at your true self. And allow yourself to be yourself. Because there is more than the vague emptiness you have ever seen.
Never stop your image from now on, why don't you choose to see a small part of you every day? Focus on one thing every morning. only one. I really saw it. Open yourself to see it and accept it. Even if you didn't find it perfect. Because that part of you is also you. Once you see it, think about it with the rest of you. Observe how it matches the rest. Do this every day until you see the full self.
I bet you will find that you will never see what you have seen. Give yourself the opportunity to know who you are and what you are. You will be surprised!
Enjoy life...all of this.
