Leaving the jet plane - bring the child

A trip once in a lifetime. Travel overseas, go to a new place and taste different foods. Sounds like a paradise holiday, right?

Well, if you are a child, it may not be heaven.

For children, travel can be a stressful, confusing and generally devastating time. Leaving home, the safety of friends and pets can make children angry and scared. I have to stay in places where people don't talk like them, sleep in strange rooms, and eat foods that they usually don't eat, which is very easy for young children.

What can you do to make your child's trip more enjoyable?

Depending on the age of your child, there are a few things you can do to help them adjust to the comforts of the family and enjoy the adventure into a new world.

Infant

Even newborns must have a passport, so be sure to complete your child's passport in advance. It can take up to 6 weeks to use a standard service passport. They do have an expedited service and it can take up to 2 weeks to get a higher price, but planning ahead will save you from having to worry about not getting your child's passport in time.

Bring enough baby food and formula during your flight. Call the airline and ask what is allowed on the plane. Recent events have caused airline restrictions to tighten, so making a call first will make it easier for you to clear the security check and move on.

When choosing a toy on the plane, leave music and noisy toys at home. After a few hours of playing the same child's songs over and over again, your reason and your passengers will be severely tested. Choose the quiet toys your baby likes to help them entertain when they are not sleeping.

It is important to ensure that you have all your baby's supplies. Estimate the travel time per hour plus a diaper. You want to make sure you have enough diapers throughout your journey. Don't forget to join the time waiting at the airport. Although some stores provide emergency packaging for babies, most do not carry diapers. You don't want to get to the destination almost and the diapers are running out.

Bring a lot of wet wipes to clean the baby's bottom and mess. There are some cloth diapers used as rags or to clean up big mess. Also bring a lot of plastic bags to store dirty clothes, diapers, etc.

If the spill or diaper overflows, please give your baby one or two extras. Don't forget your extra shirt.

Make sure you have pacifiers - if your baby uses them - tooth toys, favorite blankets are packed in diaper bags. Children are comforted by familiar things, especially those related to family and comfort.

Young children and the elderly

Many of the above are also applicable to young children and school. However, there are a few things that can make your child's travel experience interesting.

Depending on the age of the child, ask them to help plan your vacation. Knowing them to help determine what you are doing will greatly help make it easier for them to travel.

Also, don't just plan for a lot of adult-oriented activities. Be sure to plan some activities for children; the zoo, amusement park and toy store will keep your child's interest and make your trip more enjoyable.

Don't rush to get to your destination. Make sure you have enough time to check in at the airport. Remember, the more you are anxious, the more anxious your child will be.

Carry snacks, small toys, color books and crayons. No one knows your child better than you, so choose what you know will make them happy for hours.

Let your child enjoy the game on the go, which is essential for you and you to have a sensible and enjoyable trip. Be sure to plan your vacation carefully so everyone can have fun.
