Innovation: internal and external

I just asked a question - Is innovation done before or after organizing internal culture?

I spent some time thinking about this and realizing that the answer depends on where you get the innovation. Let me explain.

Some companies have a culture that stimulates and encourages innovation, while others don't - just saying that you are an innovative company is not enough - you must also walk.

Companies that drive innovation internally start with the company's leadership and are cultivated at all levels of the company, not just on a regular basis or in a specific focus group.

Some companies are not focused on this and are looking for consultants, innovative product groups and design company innovation. One way or the other way is not good or bad, right or wrong - it just.

I respect and give companies who are innovative from external sources a lot of credibility because they recognize the importance of their strengths and priorities - they hire and work with others, their strengths will praise them, help them achieve their goals and they are right The vision for the future is growing. This focus on core activities, rather than brainstorming innovations, enables the company to move forward quickly and forcefully, working with dedicated innovation teams to improve the company, its products and its customers. Value is a by-product of these activities.

Innovation is something new, something better, it's about change. It can change products, services, and open up new markets and even new strategies for new processes.

This is the best part of innovation - it comes from creativity and open thinking - it comes from exploring abstract and absurd ideas - never letting go or criticizing, but allowing them to flow. It comes from opening up to all possibilities.

If you want to know why your company doesn't have the innovation you want, check out your corporate culture and ask yourself - am I helping to encourage and foster a culture of innovation - whether my employees feel comfortable and free to share their ideas ? Or have they closed all possibilities?

Remember - at the end of the day, the goal is to win a commercial game. Your goal is to make your company profitable by providing customers with the products they want. Who cares about the source of these ideas - if it can make your company better - is that really not important?
