A quarter of a century ago, the United States sold 82% of the world's entries, but now lags behind several other countries in introducing new products. In addition, US patent applications [innovations] date back to the 1970s, a drop of 25%. Almost half of US patents are now granted to foreigners.
In short, the United States has experienced a decline in creativity and innovation.
In American companies, there is a need to improve creative problem solving and effective management.
One way managers can be more effective is to promote innovation by their subordinates, colleagues and supervisors.
What are your attitudes and behaviors in solving problems, creativity and innovation? Take this short quiz and see.

Solve problems, create ideas and leadership
One of the key actions of success is flexible thinking - creative adaptability in different contexts. It has new ideas and a lot. It is applying them to solve the complex problems of multiple solutions. Problem definitions and innovative solutions have paid off.
Innovators' thinking is often more dexterous. That is, they use the left and right hemispheres of the brain. The left side is based on rational and logical processing analysis, order, organized, planned, and precise thinking. The right hemisphere deals with the idea of imaginative, interesting, emotional, pleasant, and qualitative judgment based on emotion or intuition.

Most people remember more words on the second list. This is because the second list contains words related to visual perception. They are associated with right brain activity and left brain activity. People can draw spiritual pictures or fantasize about them.
The same is true for innovation. The more you use the sides of your brain, the more creativity you have.

in conclusion
There is an old saying in the business world: "You manage from the left, but from the right."
Paradoxically, the thinking in the left hemisphere is usually rewarded. However, the thinking in the right hemisphere is often considered fragile, inferior, wasteful, and sometimes even commercially frustrating.
However, as discussed here, problem solving, creativity, and innovation require hands-on thinking, that is, transforming and using the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Ironically, companies can indirectly become harmful future leaders by not innovating.
Therefore, the last point of the discussion is as follows:
From now on, what steps can you [and your organization] take to be more effective in this area?
