Ultimate cheese soup
what do you need:
- 1 onion, grated
- 6 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 1/2 cup chopped pepper cheese
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 3/4 cup low sodium chicken soup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons of general purpose flour
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon of chili sauce
- Black pepper sauce
In a medium-sized pan, melt the butter and cook the GM flour until golden brown for about 5 minutes. Stir the onion and garlic well, cook for another 3 minutes or until the onions are tender. Slowly add the milk and chicken stock, then boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and continue to boil until the mixture becomes smooth and thick for about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat source and stir in the chopped cheese. Season with Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce and black pepper, then stir. There are coriander leaves on top.
Pumpkin curry soup
what do you need:
- 1 pumpkin, peeled, seeded, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 4 cups of chicken soup
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup half cream
- 1/4 cup sour cream, or more flavor
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of chili
Melt the butter in a medium-high fire pot, then cook the garlic and onions until soft. Stir well in pumpkin, chicken broth, curry powder, salt, cumin and chilli. Boil, then lower the heat and boil until the pumpkin is tender, about 15 minutes. When ready, remove the heat and add half and honey to the mixture. Mix the thick soup in a blender or food processor until it becomes smooth. Transfer to the serving bowl then top the sour cream.
Creamy sausage and kale soup
what do you need:
- 12 links spicy pork sausage, sliced
- 2 potatoes, sliced
- 4 cups of water
- 2 cups of sliced kale
- 3/4 cup cut onion
- 1/3 cup thick cream
- 2 tablespoons of chicken soup base
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
Place the sausage in a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven [150 degrees Celsius] for 20-25 minutes or until cooked. Cut into 1/2 inch pieces and set aside. Cook the onions in a large pot of medium heat until soft. Add a comment and cook for another minute. Add potatoes, water and chicken broth and cook for 15-20 minutes. Reduce heat and stir in sausage, kale and cream. Boil until heated and stir frequently.
