In 2003, under the supervision of Birchham International University, Bangladesh conducted a study involving the adjustment of death [self] as a natural fact for each healthy individual. Since there were no similar prior studies on the subject during the study, some self-scheduled scoring system had to be established to measure some key criteria, such as adjusting for death.
Among all the researchers who died of death or terminal illness, Kubler-Ross' research is the most important. It accepted the truth for the dying. The stages are 1] rejection, 2] anger, 3] bargaining, 4] depression, and 5] acceptance. In order to facilitate the study, these stages were reviewed in the opposite direction in Bangladesh. Therefore, these stages turn in the opposite way to the stage or level of rejection of death. It is clear from the Kubler-Ross study that the early stages of her description are less mature and that the later stages are more mature in terms of adjustment to death. Therefore, in the sense of the ordinal score of the reverse order of the Kubler-Ross phase, it is assumed that the acceptance phase obtains the lowest score from the perspective of refusing death. Therefore, depression, bargaining, anger and negation should gradually increase the score. Since this is a qualitative measurement method, sequential scoring is also the most viable option. But one thing to note is that complete acceptance of death [100%] should not be considered a normal event because it is the highest stress on all psychological and psychological stress scales. Therefore, the score name of the score is finally selected as the "Death Rejection Score" [DRS], which reads as follows:
Death rejection score [DRS]
Stage................................................. .......... Score
accept------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- 01
Depression ------------------------------------------------ - ------------------------- 02
bargain------------------------------------------------- ------------------------- 03
anger------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------- 04
Denied - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ------------------------ ------- 05
This score was successfully used in the research process. The results are tabulated and statistically calculated to yield significant inferences. Finally, when the research report was submitted to the academic committee of the university, it was accepted and became an excellent one when graduated. It is worth mentioning that the upgrade of Kubler-Ross means death, but DRS is suitable for anyone who knows that he or she will die one day but does not know how or when to die.
