Connected thinking - creativity skills

"Imagination is more important than knowledge." Knowledge is limited. The imagination surrounds the world. "
from

  Albert Einstein

Imagination and creativity are two interrelated terms, the former leading to the latter. The word "creativity" in English and most other European languages comes from Latin, meaning "already grown." How is this going?
from

The human brain works by connecting; connecting ideas to new ideas, and so on. Unfortunately, modern life leads to mechanical thinking, which means that we are governed by habits, automatic associations and reactions. In a fixed mindset, our connections are less and less, and as a result, imagination does not work, and poor creativity tries to catch up with our artistic desires.

"3 imaginary boys"

"As our eyes need light to see, our thoughts need ideas to conceive." Napoleon Hill

Humans have been trying to discover tools for creative thinking for many years. Here are some ideas:
from

"Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun."
from

  Mary Lukuk

"Anyone can look for fashion in a museum boutique or in history. Creative explorers look for history in hardware stores and look for fashion at the airport." Robert Weed
from

"Some people say that creativity largely involves rearranging what we know to find out what we don't know." George Keller

Obviously, many artists need to deal with the problem of unlocking creative thinking! How can this be? There is no doubt that talent can be inherent, but creativity is not a gift that you must live with. Most creative people learn how to use creativity. It is actually a logical process. The key is that the cross-connection of ideas/sounds and the legal way is of course a mentality that can accept inspirational vibration. The muse of creativity is not alone, but the gifts that come with it are: look at different things, see different things, produce multiple choices, violate rules, think and connect, understand your thoughts, and play if. "The question is" how are these possibilities?"

Creative block

Unlike many phenomena in psychology, there is no standardized measure of creativity. This is a personal program. I recommend some tips to help refresh your imagination and reinvigorate your creativity.

  Do something else

Following the same creative approach can lead to a rut. So why not inject some different techniques/equipment or completely different art into your art?

Escape from yourself

Get on the bus, go to a place you have never planned, observe the street, and find the sign that you will lead you somewhere. Record the sounds you hear and any unusual shapes or accidents. Start talking with someone you don't usually talk to, eat an unusual food, and wait to see what happens.

Chat or play with your child
from

A very powerful inspirational tip is working with kids. We are all children, and we know that our way of thinking has been different. So mingle with the children, ask them about things, don't be afraid to be misunderstood, this is the clue, you will be surprised!

Let yourself notice a hobby that you never thought would be of interest. This new knowledge allows neurons to establish new connections in your brain and create memory paths that expand your life experience and broaden your worldview. Even the pottery class! The more insignificant the better.

Learn to ignore your inner critics
from

Among other things, the role of the subconscious is to limit and prohibit changes. It insists on pre-defined thoughts, habits and aspirations, and any new things will be suspicious, hesitant, even delayed or missing. Next time you have a wonderful idea, when you start shooting/writing/composing, you will feel the desire for Chinese food, organize your wardrobe or call your aunt to tell your subconscious SHUT UP and start your draft. ! Realizing that this behavior is a little bad subconscious you can know when it happens, and most importantly you can be sure that it is not the real "you", but the mechanism behind your deep roots.

Dare to be stupid
from

Try to make yourself stupid and see what happens next. When you deliberately make them unusual or strange, you never know what your work will look like. Write down pieces of music that you will never write, shoot images that you hate, and then write down part of the poem/fiction criticism that will die after reading. You will never know...
