Book Review - About Jenny by Mark Gunther

Mark Gunther's "No Jenny" is a powerful story about love and loss, and a journey of family sadness.

Rosenberg's life is perfect. A loving and passionate marriage, two great children, and a fulfilling, satisfying career. It takes only a moment to change their lives forever, because the 10-year-old Jenny was killed in an event that would only be considered a weird accident. When she repeated the fear over and over again, Joey Rosenberg was depressed by guilt. She did everything she could to solve the sadness of her beliefs, family, work and exercise - but nothing could get close to numbness or release pain. When Joey tried to find a new normal, her family was collapsing. Without power, hope or purpose, how can she continue to live without Jenny?

How do you start? The loss faced by parents will not be greater than the death of the child. Before reading "No Jenny," I would say that I can't even understand the emotions that a person endures, but Mark Gunther wrote this feeling and clarity, and I can actually imagine "if it happens to me" . As a result, this reader will not forget the unforgettable chill soon, because I feel that I am seeing his soul. In fact, these pages are full of disturbing realities that can only come from first-hand knowledge.

The reader experiences varying degrees of sadness through the roles associated with each individual, with a focus on Jenny's mother, Joey Rosenberg. Her pain is frustrating and calm, but when she tries to manage and respond, we also clearly understand the power and depth of her character. Her character is clear at a glance, whether she is kind, but the blessings who are under-prepared are silent or trying to attend for her husband and son.

I was touched by every element of this story. Roles, storylines, settings, the impact of this tragic accident - everything is written in a way that forces and repels the reader at the same time. You want to stop reading, the tragedy is so unbearable - but you can't. Just like watching a horror movie snuggling under a blanket, screaming quietly with one eye and one hand covering your mouth. It is difficult to fully express the eloquence of writing and its impact on readers. That Gunther was able to convey the feelings of a sad woman so carefully, using words to illustrate his power.

I highly recommend "No Jenny" and praise Mark Gunther for the authenticity and talent of his first novel. This is a must-read story that will always leave a mark on your heart.
