These 20 simple but key principles will relaunch your life; give you new energy, excitement, passion, and let you move from where you are now to where you want to go, faster than you want.
1 - Burning desire

The first principle of goal setting is to have a strong desire. This is not something you can train yourself, whether you own it or not. You may be able to focus on your mission or goal in a short time, but without strong desires, you will inevitably lose momentum.

When you drive a car to work, you know how far you have gone, how far you need to go. Just saying "I want to be healthy" is not enough. How do you know that you are healthy? Try more specific, an example might be "I ran for 7 minutes." It is clear, accurate and measurable.
5 - Write your goal

Make sure that when you write down your goals, it is clear, positive, and now. An example of this is "I earn $100,000 a year." By simply writing down your goals, you will make it alive; you are achieving your goals.

Lawson Parkinson said: "The time spent on work is to fill the completion time." The more time we give ourselves the task or goal, the more time we will spend completing it. Therefore, we must learn to use Parkinson's Law by setting a shorter time frame for accomplishing goals or tasks.

Identifying obstacles shouldn't stop you, but it can help you avoid any unexpected setbacks that can occur; enabling you to create the most effective plan. By identifying obstacles, your mind should begin to consider solutions to these possible situations. In Robert Kiyosaki's classic, rich father and poor father, Kiyosaki's "rich dad" teaches him how the thoughts of the rich are different from the thoughts of the poor. When the poor see what they want but exceed their current budget, they say, "I can't afford it." The rich said, "How can I afford it?" 8 - Create key metrics

An example of a key metric is the number of cold calls you will make. Once you've decoded the key metrics, you can set goals for that particular key metric. This step is designed to help you determine the most important tasks you need to accomplish each day, bringing you closer to achieving your goals. By first completing the task that needs to be completed and treating the task as final, you will actually spend 80% of the time completing the task instead of trying to perform the same task in smaller increments.
9 - Making plans

Trying to achieve goals without planning is like trying to build a skyscraper without spending time drawing blueprints. Without a blueprint, the construction process will be slow, frustrating and very expensive. The same applies to your goals; if you don't take the time to plan, achieving your goals will be slow, frustrating and expensive. Cost may not always be monetary value, but it wastes time, destroys relationships, and so on. Make a plan so you can start creating the future you want today.

By doing this, you can save time and money by eliminating the trial and error phase instead of starting to see the results. By creating a planning group, you can leverage some of the other knowledge and their resources and networks to help you attract more people who might help you achieve your goals.
12 - Incentive yourself to be disciplined

Think about the reasons for achieving the goal, not the excuse for not finding a reason. When you complete a task that you hate but brings you closer to your goal, you will feel more satisfaction, a sense of accomplishment and peace in your life. Sometimes it's hard to move on, especially if you don't see the results immediately; stick to it anyway. A good way to do this is to remind yourself why you want to achieve your goals and always keep in mind the ultimate goal.

Self-suggestion is a process by which an individual trains a subconscious mind to believe in something, or systematically imitates a person's psychological association, usually for a specific purpose.
One way to use self-suggestion is to simply write down a statement on the index card, such as "I earn $100,000 a year" and carry it at all times. Whenever it happens - the first thing in the morning, before retirement, work breaks, etc. - Start to memorize what you wrote on the card and believe what you said [written on the card]] It's true about yourself!
