Joe's first talk with GOTO Academy! Talk: Scrum@Hardware In this talk, Joe Justice, recognized Scrum coach and speaker, will give you practical ways of applying Agile techniques to manufacturing projects.  As Agile practices and Scrum move outside of software we are seeing new pockets of innovation occurring. In this course, you will learn how Agile software techniques can be applied in multiple domains including physical engineering and manufacturing, and how using Scrum can limit dependencies and constraints associated with traditional project management. Upon completion you will: - Know how Scrum is being applied to multiple domains - Understand how innovation is reducing lead times - Learn how Scrum and innovation can increase competitive advantage Lean Coffee with our experts After Joe's talk and a refreshing break, we will return to a Q&A Lean Coffee session where you can ask our experts anything you'd like. It can be related to the topic of the presentation, but it can also be about other agile topics. Joe coaches agile hardware and manufacturing teams around the world, and Klaus is our senior agile coach who is coaching many companies and often co-training with our Scrum trainers, amongst others Jeff Sutherland. Short Bio: Joe Justice Joe Justice is a consultant at Scrum, Inc., a TEDx speaker, and coach for agile hardware and manufacturing teams around the world. Scrum, Inc. is the principle thought leadership and training body on Scrum and agile development. He is the founder of Team WIKISPEED, an all Scrum volunteer-based, "green" automotive prototyping company, with a goal to change the world for the better. Joe consults and coaches teams and companies on implementing Scrum at all levels of their organization, both in software and physical manufacturing. Joe has been featured in Forbes 5 times, CNN Money once to date, interviewed by Fast Company, featured on the Discovery Channel, and other media outlets globally for his work reducing time to value in companies globally and within the non-profit social good do-tank, Team WIKISPEED.
