Stavros Tziortzis [50.54s] won the second place in the second race in Europe in the same year, defeating the sick Akii and finishing second [50.54]. The Olympic medals hope that Kenya's William [Biel] Koski will also win the Uganda silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970, and won the disappointing fourth place [50.58] in the second round of the first round.
