I was a little scared a few days ago. Don't get me wrong, I want to mention that you are not trying to get sympathy but warning. This is the way the story is.
I went to a local pharmacy to supplement my diabetes medication [I' m 2]. So, while waiting for it to fill up, I looked around and saw one of the blood pressure machines. You know that, it has a seat, you put your arm into a device that looks like a clip. For the skylark I decided to sit down and try to pass the time. So I put my arm in and pressed to start, and soon I felt the airbag full, feeling the tightness and pressure of the machine. It seems that after 30 seconds, the machine stops and the result pops up. We just said that I was surprised by the results. I tried the test again and the results automatically returned the same. I tried the third time and got the same result again. The panic began to spread. I said to myself that I feel good. I have no problems. The machine must be on fritz.
So I decided to go to the pharmacist absently and ask if the machine is working properly. She replied that this is what she knows, but sometimes the children will come in and play, and it will not be hit. I asked her if she could test it and see if it was OK. There was a doubtful expression on her face, she said yes and stopped filling out the order and came out. I am not sure if this is because of the expression on my face or the sob in my voice. When she tested, she told me that the machine recorded her exact blood pressure, so it should be fine. She let me sit down and let me sit in the best position and record the best exit. Ok, we just said that it didn't happen.
She pressed the start button, the airbag was full, the small device inside snorted, creaked, and then creaked, and the result came out. Ah... the stunning expression on her face shows everything. This is not good news. She did several tests to determine that it just seemed to check her vision to see if she was right. Unfortunately she is right. She gently helped me and asked if I felt good. I have a smirk answer on my face, I feel so good?
The pharmacist continued to grab my arm and led me to a medical clinic connected to the pharmacy. She told me to take a slow and careful step and grab me. [At this point I feel like a 90-year-old man, left it]. When we arrived at the clinic, we went to the registration office. She went behind and whispered in the clerk's ear that his eyes were wide open and so sharply point that almost caused her glasses to slip. Oh... another bad sign.
At this time the clinic is full of people, I expect to wait at least an hour. Imagine my surprise when my name is called the next one. Another bad sign. When I walked through some people in the waiting room [some of them were the blink of an enemy]. All I can do is smile with shame and shrug in an apology. The clinician nurse took me to write down my medical history and said that the doctor would see me soon. So I waited and did what everyone did in the room. I saw those medical posters on the wall, you know the vaccinated ears, body and advertising. When I was tired, I checked the cabinet. Oh, come now, just like you have never done this before out of curiosity, check to see what kind of free samples the Doctor has.
A few minutes later, the doctor appeared and asked me what went wrong. I told him what happened. Therefore, he started taking my blood pressure in a cold and boring attitude [you know what the doctor is like]. He put on his bladder and began to pump water to look at the manometer, looked down at the bladder and looked at his face again, with amazing expression on his face. He began toot himself and stared at the meter [I mentioned that he kept looking at the meter]. He shook his head and asked me to follow him to another room [again not a good sign] to test again. The same expression quietly appeared on his face. He asked if I had no migraine, blurred vision or nausea. I am proud to answer, "Nope Doc feels as healthy as a horse." He sighed and looked at me, saying that he couldn't believe that I had no influence, let alone walk. He muttered, thank God, you came in and licked my shoulder. Now... this is really not a good sign!
Long story short or at least shorter, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure [high blood pressure] people have not thought of it. My wisdom for you today, especially if you are a diabetic. When you see these machines in a pharmacy or at a local Wal-Mart, test and do this often, and you may be surprised by the results, which may save your life. They did not call high blood pressure a silent killer.
Oh, yes, you may want to know what these numbers are causing everyone to panic, I will share with you. Remember that the best reading is about 130/80. In the pharmacy - 223 / 142,199 / 142,243 / 142. In the Doctor's office - 200/140 [final reading].
