The good news is that many studies have shown that combining exercise, decompression, and changing eating habits can alleviate this stress and can be better than these drugs.
There is still better news now. A groundbreaking new study provides conclusive evidence that just taking a regular exercise program can reduce your number and require little or no medication.
2 hours a week?
this is all. The researchers began investigating 27 overweight, undersized men with mild hypertension, interrupting any blood pressure medication they took and dividing them into two groups.
One group did a real workout: a half-hour "quick walk", jogging and/or static cycling, four times a week, with a maximum heart rate of 65% to 80%.
Another group of men did fake exercises. They do "slow aerobics and stretching exercises" in the same amount of time, but their heart rate is still below 60% of the maximum.
Both groups of men carefully monitored the heart rate so that the researchers could determine that the real exerciser kept their weight more than 65%, and those who did the fake exercise stayed below 60%. [If they leave those areas, they will be alerted!] This "sports strength proof" makes this research quite unique.
The results of it?
At the end of 6 weeks, you can see a significant difference between the two groups. Men who did real exercise reduced the diastolic [lower] reading by an average of more than 6 points.
At the end of the 10 weeks, it fell by nearly 10 points; from an average of 94.8 to an average of 85.2. People who do fake exercises see their diastolic readings rise: from 93.7 to 94.4.
The highest contraction of the contractor decreased by 6 points in the actual exerciser, and the average dropped from 136.6 to 130.2. Among the fake exercisers, it rose from 134.9 to 135.8.
Or, as the researchers put it, 9 out of 10 men in the real exercise group have a lower diastolic blood pressure than the magic 90. All men who perform fake movements are 90 or higher.
As the researchers explained, previous studies on the effects of exercise on blood pressure yielded various results. But this has a few edges.
Researchers have monitored men's exercise levels in ways never before, insisting that their diet has not changed. They keep the weight and fat levels in the two groups the same? Because some people think that the "confusion variable" of diet and weight loss is the cause of the drop in blood pressure in early studies, not the exercise itself.
Researchers may also be the first group in medical history to compare placebo movements.
The result is strong evidence that many men can gradually "get rid of" their hypertension through a two-hour exercise every week.
